DISCLAIMER: My reports given on this website are based on personal experience alone. A treatment which works or causes problems for one person may cause another person to respond in a different way.
Warning! Experimenting with spiritual energy is dangerous and such experimentation has
led many persons to insanity, physical injury or even death. You are advised to not try
repeating any activities which I describe and you are advised to not try repeating any of
the experiments reported in any of the books I cite from or reported on pages at websites
to which this website is linked.
1. Since 1980 I’ve been consciously conducting research on sensing the unity field and
helping other persons sense the unity field.
2. This field might also be called the psychic unity field.
3. I have examined modern mathematical language itself, and a valid mathematical
equation for the natural unity may be written in a form which includes two rays which,
when multiplied together, equal the natural unity.
4. In mathematical language, the natural unity is the number one.
5. To sense the natural unity a person must be receiving some energy from some
energized source. Whatever you sense you sense by giving energy from yourself, or
having energy added to yourself. That is, when you step into a cold room your body
radiates heat rapidly and you feel cold. When you step into the hot sun, light and heat
energy is added to your body and you sense this. When you listen to the blare of an
automobile horn, energy is being added to your body. Most of the energy doesn’t vibrate
your ear drum, but the sound which does vibrate your eardrum registers as sound in your
brain.
6. When a person senses the natural unity, or one-ness with the cosmos, he may
experience some unusual sensation in his body. I have helped many persons sense heat or
cold in their bodies and sometimes relaxation and the temporary cessation of stiffness and
pain.
7. Using mathematical language, the equation for unity expressed as the product of two
rays indicates two static rays, unless we add a vibration which makes these rays spin. If
we add the vibration, the product of the two rays remains unity no matter where their
position is in the two dimensional space in which this model is constructed. And any
frequency of vibration will do. Whether the vibration is very slow or very fast, the result
is the same. The sensation felt is still the sense of unity.
8. I have helped several persons relax in a comfortable spot, and pick up some unusual
sensations from some source. I’ve done this myself many times. In particular, I’ve stood
near several clients, and helped them relax, and feel in their bodies quite as they have felt
after they had used a special substance to experience an altered state of consciousness.
But this was at a time when they hadn’t taken any special substance. And I don’t use any
special substance to remain in this altered state of consciousness.
9. It is reasonable to suggest that this altered sense is due to some energy being removed
from my body or some energy being added to my body.
10. Sir Alister Hardy’s book The Spiritual Nature Of Man presents hundreds of
anecdotal reports by persons who responded to newspaper advertisements soliciting
persons to contribute personal information on episodes of altered states of consciousness.
11. In many cases the sense of vision is altered perceptibly. On page 125 of his book
Nature, Man, and Woman, Alan Watts describes an episode of altered states of
consciousness in which his visual sense was profoundly altered. The same effect has been
noted by R.M. Bucke, Orson Bean, and Aldous Huxley, in association with the sensation
of dissolution of the barrier of self distinct from the rest of creation. This sensation has
sometimes been described as the sense of “unity with God.”
12. In particular, colors seem brighter than usual, and flowers out of doors appear to
glow with an inner light. The sky appears much clearer and bluer than usual, and the
green foliage appears finer and greener than ever noticed before. This is an altered sense
in the perceiver.
13. In doing experiments, it is best to not tell the other persons what he or she is going to
experience. Ideally, one wants to test the reactions of naive and innocent children or
adults who are not inhibited by any cultural taboos. The problem is, of course, that
persons who speak and who listen are going to have learned the cultural taboos. So this
pretty much leaves those children who are very young, that is two years old or younger,
and those older children and adults who are known to be “autistic”, or otherwise not able
to learn the cultural taboos.
14. With such persons as these, a person who is a concentrated source of this unitive
psychic vibration will have a strong influence upon infants and autistic persons. This is to
be predicted.
15. If the sense of “God” is pleasurable, relaxing, comforting, and reduces stiffness and
pain, then we would expect that a person who is a concentrated source of this unitive
psychic vibration will have a strong appeal to infants and autistics provided the “God”
person is able to make contact with them, so that they sense the vibration coming out of
him.
16. Many persons who believe in “God” often meet and engage in various activities
together. Each of these persons associates these activities with his or her sensation of
“God” during the celebration or service. Presumably the worship service is relaxing and
pleasurable to the participants. And sometimes there is a “healing” at a church worship
service. But there is no conscious, rational theory of how to get more “healing”. In other
words, there’s no rational theory for this unity, this sense of one-ness which for many is
very therapeutic.
17. It is possible to show using projective geometry and set theory that a line segment of
any finite length has exactly the same number of points. From this it can be shown that the
number of points in any square area or cubic volume, the number of points is the same.
It’s also true that each point is defined by a distinct number, or a finite sequence of
numbers. So the realm of numbers and points is distinct from and independent of distance
and time. That is, we can use numbers and points to understand space and time, but the
realm of numbers and points extends beyond the realm of space and time.
18. That is to say, there can be points and forms which do not exist in physical space and
time, and these points and forms can be perceived directly, even though they are not
physical. For example, the form of the Earth’s orbit around the sun. This is a
mathematical construct, but it isn’t visible in physical space.
19. Indeed, we are just defining the realm in which such constructs exist.
20. So in a very real sense, when you studied Algebra and Plane Geometry in high school,
you were studying God, or at least the same realm which is considered holy by people
who use that language in places where matters of holiness are discussed.
21. The language I am using here is a bit crude. A person who was never handicapped by
autism would perhaps say it better.
22. But the person who was never handicapped by autism will not have much experience
in this sense of which I write. In Sir Alister Hardy’s book, there are hundreds of anecdotal
reports, but the sensations were fleeting, and ephemeral. And in no case did the person
experiencing such fleeting sensations figure out how to retain the altered state of
consciousness and mix it up with ordinary consciousness. And you can imagine, that this
might result in a disability, since when you are distracted from physical reality you have to
work harder to keep up with children and adults who are not being distracted by anything.
